I did my CBT on a 50cc piaggio.
Weather like yesterday.. Going over the open country in high winds kinda made me look a bit of a cunt..
The other 3 muppets givin it large on there frank Spencer 125cc yahama number was no consolation

Nice.. I like bikes, but never had a licence. I'm thinking of doing my CBT, but at 52 I think it might end in tears. Last time I rode I was 17 on an RM80 and went over the handlebars. The gear lever broke off and I never got to ride again.
I look at a few youtube channels, a current favourite being a Bulgarian bloke travelling Australia, plus the Missenden Flyer and a couple of American safety related ones.

On the bus the other week, I was sat behind a young bloke and his Dad, and his Mum was a further seat ahead.
Something told me he wasn't quite normal, but I think it was more the way his parents related to him than anything he did.
Until the shrill bus buzz. He was visibly upset at it. Six buzzes later he was losing it.
I got off before he had a breakdown.

Weekly!? That is ridiculous. At least ours is once a year along with the blokes coming along with a smoke bucket to test each sensor individually - Grr.
My office is dog friendly so we have loads of them. One in particular whines a lot while her owner is oblivious with the Dre phones on and Spotify blasting his ears.
There is one dog who who makes me smile though. He is a Staffy and sounds like squeeky gym shoes when he is excited and about to go off for his walk.

On some London buses, the stop bell isn't a dignified 'ding' anymore, but a shrill FEEP. It's just as well we aren't allowed to carry assault rifles in this country.
Also, the weekly fire alarm test at work.

Oh, and motorcycling IS evil if you as shite a bike handler as the likes of me. I am dangerous enough on a pushbike; my biking experiment lasted two weeks and ended in a stream in the Bowland Forest.
